Description
Persecutors are sometimes stereotyped as ‘evil system members.’ This is an incredibly harmful viewpoint as it further isolates them and makes it harder for them to reach out for help. Be mindful that in some systems a persecutor may be traumatised, or have unhealthy coping mechanisms. They are not evil and are just as deserving of compassion and patience as other system members.
