Description
Samhaintídal is an umbrella/gender term, part of the Wheel Subsystem related to the season of Samhain, secular Halloween, and the beginning of the cold months of winter. It and its related genders can be described with any of the following: A connection to sleepiness, rest, or less fluidity and discovery in one’s gender compared to other times, or to wind, the harvest, and the supernatural; A feeling like one’s gender has become alike a liminal space where dormant or dead genders can return as ghosts to be experienced for brief or longer periods in the soul’s identity; Some kind of strong connection with gender; A celebration of the genders that one has lost or forgotten, all while honoring the inner radiance of “living” genders as well; A feeling of gendered connection to the season of autumn, Halloween, or their aesthetic; A sense that one’s gender is slowing down and preparing for a time of less activity. It is part of the Talien System.
