Description
A term similar to subsystem, a sidesystem is a separate system standing metaphorically “to the side” or “next to” a main system. A sidesystem is different from a subsystem in that, instead of being stacked or being a system within a system, a sidesystem is its own completely separate system alongside the existing main system.
