Description
Yulentídal is an umbrella/gender term, part of the Wheel Subsystem related to the season of Yule, secular Northern Hemisphere Christmas, the middle of winter, and legends regarding the following. It and its related genders can be described with any of the following: A connection to giving gifts (which may be in the form of other genders to genderhearts, or producing something for the identity as a whole), merriment, snow, the cold of the winter and/or the warmth of the hearth, and family and friendship; A feeling like one’s gender is festive, sweet, or charitable; Some kind of strong connection with gender; A celebration of the beaity and wondrousness of identity, of the self and others; A feeling of gendered connection to the general aesthetic of the season, or non-fantasy Elves, reindeer, candy, and conifers; A sense that one’s gender is celebrating its life even in the darkest times of the (metaphorical) year. It is part of the Talien System.
